They have made worms meat of me!

"Romeo and Juliet" is more than just the greatest love story ever told, it is a complex tale of fighting between two families which ends in heartbreak for all!

Join a Crew of Patches practitioner as they explore the city of Verona with your students. Developing your students knowledge of both the Montagues and the Capulets and learning how Romeo and Juliet were destined to die on the very same day.

Together we will explore the complex story arch, and delve into the characterisation of some of the plays greatest roles.

Allow us to take the stress out of your Shakespeare planning and watch as your students stretch their knowledge and grow as individuals.

By the end of the session, your students will...
  • Explore the fighting on the streets of Verona.

  • Understand the hatred between the Montagues and Capulets.

  • Explore the characters of Romeo and Juliet and how they interact within the play.

  • Develop the story arch from beginning to end, understanding how the death of the two star crossed lovers was destiny!

"They made Shakespeare far less intimidating and made our studio into a place of pure joy. For those that have never done Shakespeare and even for those that had, they all said after they had learnt so much”
